We act responsibly towards society and the environment and produce as sustainably as possible. While we have made significant progress, we are not as sustainable as we would like to be at this stage. We want to be transparent and share with you how far we have come on our sustainability journey.
WHERE WE ARE SUSTAINABLE TODAY
1 Timeless Design
We create swimwear that can be used on a number of occasions (beach, pool, street and sports) for many years to come.
2 Fair & Small Production
Our swimwear is handmade in the north of Portugal in a factory that treats workers fairly. We know the craftswoman sewing our pieces. We choose to produce in small quantities. We produce a maximum of 50 items per one piece.
3 Sustainable Materials
Our fabric is made from recycled polyamide. We source all our fabrics from Spain and Italy. We only select high quality, durable and soft fabric even if it comes at a significant premium.
OUR WORK IN PROGRESS ITEMS TO BECOME EVEN MORE SUSTAINABLE
1 Closing the loop
We encourage women to repair, resell and donate their one pieces. We have not yet found a way to play an active role in giving a second life to our swimwear.
2 Some Materials
Our outer fabric is sustainable. However, we have not yet come across a sustainable lining solution that performs and feels great. Our elastics, removable cups and sewing thread are not made from recycled materials.
3 Fabric Leftovers
During production, a small percentage of our fabric becomes unusable. We are still working on creative ways to use these small leftover pieces of fabric.
